Biofuel plant for Hässleholm Miljö AB »
KMW Energi AB has received an order to construct a boiler plant for the production of heat.

Combustion train

KMW Energi’s combustion technology allows you to burn several types of bio-fuel. The plants are manufactured according to customer requirements in order to achieve the highest efficiency.

Several of KMW Energi’s plant modules are also supplied individually. The modules are well-tested and produced at our own workshop in Norrtälje.

Combustion chamber

Each combustion train consists essentially of a combustion chamber which is connected to a boiler and is designed for either moist fuels (TRF) or drier fuels (TRT).

Fuel feeder

The fuel feed chute is equipped with hydraulically driven pushers that feed the pre-combustion chamber with the right amount of fuel to meet the plant load. More about the fuel feeder

Hydraulic driven grates

KMW Energi’s combustion furnace is equipped with hydraulically operated grate shafts, which allows individual adjustments to control the burning process. The grids rest on a water cooled grid support.

Boiler

KMW Energi utilizes two types of boilers. Which one is suitable depends on the size of the plant as well as on the pressure and the temperature required.

Emissions treatment

The preferred method to clean particulates from the flue gases is to install an electrostatic precipitator.

Hydraulic tilt protection

Tilt protection prevents spill when the side-tilted vehicles deliver fuel. This also results in a better environment in the tilt area and on approach roads.

Accessible bottom scraper silo

Our bottom scraper silo is actually accessible for a front loader or even a truck. This facilitates loading and stacking of fuel.

Ash distributor for fewer transports

The ash distributor is placed above the container for bottom ash and increases the filling rate in the container, resulting in fewer transports.

Ash conveyor with paddle

The ash conveyor for the moist feeding of ash from the furnace and boiler efficiently feeds the ash to the ash-handling system.
